Hearth and Home Christmas Eve Party

First things first! Bev brought baby Jake. Best Christmas present ever!!!!
Okay, welcome to the Hearth and Home annual Christmas Eve Party, where no one wants their picture taken! Here is your host, Santa Turner!
Look at that spread! Whoot whoot!

Ah, two people who don't mind getting their pic taken! New big sister Mikaela, and photo tip extraordinaire Scott!

This gift is awesome! I would just like to see someone TRY to steal this!

Hey, I just heard Jerry say party at his house! Let's go!

This is not NEAR as cool as the BYU cozies I brought! I'll play this while I am driving to camp!

Maybe I can hide my face behind this Broncos Santa. Oh, sorry Aaron!

We don't need no stinkin hospital! We'll deliver this baby right here with this!

Yeah, my balls are WAY bigger than this!

Rich? Shy guy? I don't THINK so!

Now how can I POSSIBLY make this work with my quad?????

I stole the baby deliver kit! This can't be left to amateurs!!!

Yeah, my dogs will eat this in like two seconds!!!

Thanks guys for being good sports and letting me practice my new photography skills on you (I still have SO far to go!). If you didn't see your picture here, it was because you were being a PUNK and moved too fast for me!!! :) Merry Christmas H&H!

On the twelfth day of Christmas (Christmas Eve!) my parents gave to me........

When I was little, one of the traditions of my family was that we got to open a present on Christmas Eve. Sometimes we could choose, but sometimes, my mom gave us one to open that was special. When this happened, it was usually pajamas. I would always look forward to nice, new, cozy pajamas. I like to do this for my kids and it has an added bonus, (although my mom was probably thinking the same thing) the kids will look cute in Christmas morning pics with their cute new jammies on!
Here is Super Mario Galaxy Boy! (or boys as the case may be). Notice they are wearing their hats from day five :) Bren didn't want to put his pajamas on, so I told him holding them was good enough!
I didn't give Terry his yet, so I can't tell you what it is just on the off chance that he might read my blog for the first time in his life! I will MAKE him take a picture with it when he gets home today! Merry Christmas everyone!

On the tenth day of Christmas my parents gave to me.......

Snuggies! (not the bad kind! Although as ornery as they have been lately, that might not be such a bad idea!)
Terry got a stainless steel drink mixer. Now he can bring his own to parties instead of having to borrow the Turner's!

Colemere Family Christmas Party 2009

Well, as most of you know, my beautiful Bevy had baby Jake last Friday. He is 19 1/2 inches and 7lbs 5oz. Congrats Bev and Jesse. Bev always plans the Colemere Family Christmas party and even though she was ready to pop, she still planned it this year. Unfortunately, she wasn't able to be there, so this post is for you, Bev!!!
First we stopped off at Grandma Minnie's. Here is Rachelle testing our my new toy!
Here is Tim and Grandma. Topher and Trey were a little too shy!

Next, we went to Ryan and Natalie's. They graciously offered to have the party at their house this year. Thanks guys!
Rachelle and Kennedy
Da boys (and girl!) Jason, Kennedy, Terry, Topher and Kenyon
Dad and Sue
Kenyon and Madison
Courtney and Mom. Unfortunately, Mom wasn't feeling too well. We think she got food poisoning at the West Jordan Employee Christmas party. Ooops!
Natalie and Xander
Ryan
Dexter
Brad, Adriana, and Adriana's cute son. I am totally brain dead and even though I have asked him his name SEVERAL times. I can't remember it. Sorry!
Same with Stephanie and her handsome hunk. Those of you who know me know that I am TERRIBLE with names, but I never forget a face!!! (sorry again!)
Stephanie and Barb
LaDawn, Kennedy, Mikaela, Lexi, and Hayley (or Hailey... oops!)
Brad and Andrew. Barb and Andrew had just BARELY driven in from Cali so they were EXTREMELY beat! Brad and his little family are also headed back east for Christmas. Don't get frozen! In year's past, we have drawn names for everyone to get a gift, but since times have been tough the last few years, we have narrowed it down to just the kids. So here is the big kids exchange blitz!!!

Oh, by the way, Bev. Since you weren't there, they put me in charge. Something about being the oldest child from the pool of kids that comes from my dad, Uncle John and your mom. What a bunch of hooey! Just kidding. Although they did make me try to remember all of the grandkids starting from youngest to oldest for the gift exchange (me... who can't remember anyone's name!) I did pretty well. The only one I left out was Peyton. Sorry Peyton. I remedied myself mostly right away though to my credit

Here are Ryan and Rachelle. I asked them if they dressed that way on purpose, all red, white, green and Christmasy. They said "No". Looked good though! It was a great party! Glad everyone who made it was there! Next year Bevy will be planning a Christmas party AND a birthday party!!!

On the ninth day of Christmas my parents gave to me.........

Ice Age III, Dawn of the Dinosaurs on Blu-Ray. We are sure going to have a lot of movie nights! Good thing the younger kids are going to be off track for a while!

On the eighth day of Christmas my parents gave to me.......

Scooby Doo on DVD, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, and a shirt with a matching beanie (Bren is not pictured because he was with his dad this weekend.
Terry got the DVD Beerfest. If you haven't seen it, I highly reccomend it. It is pretty funny!

On the seventh day of Christmas my parents gave to me........

Night at the Museum on Blu-Ray.

Topher's VIP

It was Topher's turn for his Very Important Person day today. He got to make a poster and show some of his favorite things. It is hard to see, but he put pictures of: our swimming pool, his family, camping at the Dunes, sitting at the campfire, when he won the pumpkin carving contest, New Year's Eve 2008, and one with Gizmo when they were sleeping. His favorite letter is T, his favorite food is chile with cheese, his favorite animal is a monkey, his favorite activity is watching TV (cringe) and his favorite TV shows are Spongebob and iCarly. Then he passed out red and green rice crispy Christmas trees to all of his classmates. Good job Topher!

On the sixth day of Christmas my parents gave to me..........

Mario hats to wear while we play our video games and Axe shampoo and body wash to drive the ladies even more wild!
Terry got some axe body wash too and lookie what I got!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Booyah! a new digital camera! Watch out Andrea and Lisa, here I come!!!! (you gals are going to have to show me how to use it!)
