Fact of the Week

Fact of the Week: Who Was the First Female Actor? Margaret Hughes may have been the first professional actress in England. The occasion of her first performance was on 8 December 1660, in a production of Shakespeare's play Othello, when she played the role of Desdemona in a production by Thomas Killigrew's new King's Company at their Vere Street theatre. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Margaret_Hughes

Alex Takes 3rd Place - Post from the Past

Alex was asked by the staff at Orange Theory to be one of their representatives at competitions they were having. I believe it was between all of the gyms. He got third overall! Very impressive!

Good job, Alex, kick some trash!

Tim Becomes an Official Adult - 2020 - Post From the Past

...and just like that, Tim is an official adult! He didn't want a big hullabaloo. We were missing a "2" candle, so we improvised.
Here are Tim and Ashley right before Tim blew out his candles.
Happy Birthday, Tim! (I'm not old enough to have adult children....)

We Lost Richter - June 20th 2021

We lost poor Richter on the 20th. Topher figured he was about 110+ in rat years. He took good care of him!
Here are some of Topher's favorite pictures of him.
I got a picture frame for Topher that has a dangling heart that says "In Memory". This is the picture he chose.

We decided to bury him in the garden. Here is his headstone. I put one of my flowers next to it. We made one for Leroy too, because we hadn't made him one yet.
He was such a good pet, and Topher is devastated. It is so hard to lose a beloved pet. Thank goodness I believe they go to heaven too and will be waiting for us when we cross the Rainbow Bridge too.
