Post from the Past - 50th Birthday Family Style

I had a family birthday party for my 50th as well. Here is the card my mom gave me. It had some monies in it! She also gave me a stuffed bear to keep all of my 50th birthday props on.

cups, and wine accessories. Boy do they know me or what...

Because it was Brendon and Lyndie's birthday month as well, I bought them their favorite cake....rainbow sprinkles! (They also got a good chunk of change)

This is the birthday cake we got for everyone else to share. 

I was trying to take selfies with everyone, because I always take the pictures and I am not in them. Terry runs from them too. Here I am trying to get him to look up and smile.

Here are the other two birthday people! 

Dave and Lisa got some balloons for me for the friends party. I took them home and put them up. They lasted a LONG time!

 It was a GREAT birthday, although I don't know if I still like the idea of being a half a century old! But.....I think the alternative is worse! 

Halloween 2022

Happy Halloween! I am so glad that we can celebrate with people again! Here is my boss Curtis with his costume. HILARIOUS if you are in accounting! 

Liz and I were Small Town Murder Podcasters. We were also the murderers. John was our victim. Here is Liz taking him out on the forklift. 

 

Liz is sawing him in half, and I am preparing to bury the evidence....

Then we decided we would throw him in the dumpster instead

Mission accomplished! 

What a great day, but poor Terry had surgery that day. It was month end AND a Monday. I had to race to get all of the checks in, and then I had to race to the hospital for him. It all turned out okay!

Grandma Betty and Tim's Birthday Party - 2022

 Well, I got videos of Tim and Grandma blowing out their candles, but Blogspot won't upload them, so I guess we don't get to see them. Happy 92nd Grandma Betty, and Happy 23rd Tim!

Sick Day - Memorial Day Weekend 2022

I didn't feel so hot during Memorial Day Weekend. Terry went to the store without me, that is how bad it was :) Anyway, I asked him to bring some Vapo Rub back for me. This is what he brought back....Vapo Rub and a Spock mug!

Also, some flowers. Here they are in their packaging...

..and here they are after I arranged them.

It did the trick! I felt MUCH better after that! 

 

The Garage Bar and Restaurant June 2022

 We found a new place out on Mountain View Corridor and about 12600 South. It is SO cool! Anything you can think of that has to do with cars is here! 

Bonus: They have REALLY good food too!

The second time we went, we sat under this Mustang. I didn't get a lot of pictures that time, but things really hadn't changed. This will be one of favorites for a long time!
