Zombie Chase 2013 - Eureka, Utah

Post from the past!  Zombie Chase 5K!  First we went sightseeing in the town. This building has an old well inside!
The man that owned this building did a lot of woodworking.

This building was also a speak easy so there were lots of empty bottles.
Old sleds next to all of the bottles...
I thought this was a cool old typewriter...
Check out the stove!
This is where they used to hide the booze. It was behind a fake wall.
This is a washer made of wood.
This is a sink made of wood.
That's one HUGE fishing pole!
This care was behind some glass. I thought it was SO cool!
This building was a boutique, but it was closed. Bummer!  It looked very rustic.
We even found a homemade "chair"!
Close up of the boutique that wasn't open.  Natalie, Karen and Rachelle posin' it up!
This is a really cool old church. It is for family reunions now, but it used to be Eureka's first Mormon church if I remember reading the plaque out front right....
My turn!  Natalie, me and Karen.
After we tore the town up, we headed to the cemetery. This person was born on my birthday, and died the day before Karen's. Creeeeeepy!
It's hard to see, but there is a bunny sitting under those flowers.
Rachelle down the road.....

Shot of the cemetery down the road.
The sun made a really cool effect on this grave plot.
This was an old, abandoned house that was in the distance. I thought it would be a good, rustic pic.

I love that this tree is growing over someone's grave. I would love that for my final resting place.
Now for the zombies!  Cute pic........
Scary pic!
Pre race pics! Of COURSE matching shirts.......
Karen and I.....
Aaaaaand Da group!

We got em!!!!!
Can't wait for the next one!
