Fact of the Week: How long do astronauts stay in quarantine? Apollo 11, 12, and 14 Astronauts from these missions were quarantined for 21 days after returning from the moon, beginning when the lunar lander's hatch closed on July 21, 1969. The quarantine was a precaution in case the astronauts had been exposed to dangerous lunar microorganisms.

Junior Achievement City

Forgot to post these gems!  This is Tim's Junior Achievement City experience.  If you haven't been here, I totally recommend it!  It was so fun!
 Tim's buddies ran the Simmon's Radio Station.  They got to pick the music that played all day.
 They had a great time taking requests and playing commercials
This was 5th grade year.  I hope they keep this program.  It is definitely worth it and the kids learn a lot about running a business.
