Fact of the Week: How long do astronauts stay in quarantine? Apollo 11, 12, and 14 Astronauts from these missions were quarantined for 21 days after returning from the moon, beginning when the lunar lander's hatch closed on July 21, 1969. The quarantine was a precaution in case the astronauts had been exposed to dangerous lunar microorganisms.

Mother's Day 2012

Happy Mother's Day to me!  Topher gave me a coupon book full of redeemable goodies and this apron.  One of tho coupons was for a new watch.  I ended needing it the next day!
 Alex was home for Mother's Day!  He brought me purple flowers (and himself), my favorite!
 We went to a BBQ at Peama and Grandpa's house.  Here are Kody and Peama.
 We celebrated Mother's Day with my family earlier, but here is a picture of my sweet mom!
Brendon gave me tomato and green pepper plants he grew in his greenhouse class.  I can't wait to eat them!
It was a great day.  Happy Mother's Day to all of the mothers in my life :)
