Fact of the Week: How long do astronauts stay in quarantine? Apollo 11, 12, and 14 Astronauts from these missions were quarantined for 21 days after returning from the moon, beginning when the lunar lander's hatch closed on July 21, 1969. The quarantine was a precaution in case the astronauts had been exposed to dangerous lunar microorganisms.

Memorial Day Weekend 2011 - Yuba Lake, Utah

Ahhh Memorial Day.....So nice! While we later found out that back home got covered in snow and rain, we had sun down at Yuba! I LOVE this first picture of Bryce and Dave. It is SO cute!Lisa and I!Da girls!Isn't Lisa a wonderful photographer! I thought this was so cool.Here's da girls again. Dave got a new camera and I think he took most of the pics the first night. Thanks Dave!Look! Lisa and I found a leprechaun!!!Of course we got the sparklers out for the open shutter pics. So neat! Look at the rapture in Bryce's face. Look, now Lisa and I found a viking!And finally Lisa, Zane and I getting cozy.Not quite sure where Terry, Tim, and Topher are in all of these photos, because they were out at the fire too. Must have ran from the camera! I'll have to see if Lisa has anymore captured of the elusive Morleys! Wonderful weekend. Thanks to the Brannons for inviting us!!!
