Everyone had been there for quite some time so I had to catch up! My old man had gone to bed before I got there because he was waking up early to go to the Dunes and do some serious riding!

Oh yeah! Great night! I crawled home at 3am and didn't MOVE the next day! What a Phun Phriday. In the future though, I suggest doing it WITHOUT the hangover.

Phriday Phun Part II

Okay so later that night, it was the last night of bowling for the Skyliners League. I am a sub and usually bowl for my Mom and Grandparent's team. The last night is cool because we play fun bowling games with the disco lights and music. Jammin'! Warning..these photos are from an EXTREME amateur photographer (Andrea is cringing right now!). The dark ones are dark on purpose, I was trying to create and effect. NOT!!! Oh well, it was fun anyway!!!

Phriday Phun Part I

A little over a week ago, my kids and I decided to go out for a Phriday Phun day. They have been off track from school and this was one of their last days off, so we decided to go play! First, we went to the park.

After the park, we decided to wind down by going to the library. I am glad that my kids like to do this because reading is one of my FAVORITE passtimes!

Then we were HUNGRY!! We decided to try a new place. Tim and Topher like to eat hot stuff (they get that from their dad) so we decided to try Wingers. Here Tim and Topher had been arguing so Topher wasn't so into getting his pic taken!

But after a full tummy of wings, he was in a better mood! Here is how Topher "measured up"

The View From My "Office"

This post is mostly for my British "cousin" Roger. We are always talking about where we live and I wanted to show him just how majestic the Rocky and Oquirrh mountains are. He lives in a place called Ellesmere which is near a place called Colemere, go figure! I think I found where my ancestors came from! Over there, the word "mere" means "lake", so my new name is Jaylene Colelake Morley. Sweet!!!! Here is the western view from my corner, the Oquirrh Mountains. Pretty, huh!!!
And... (wait for it...wait for it....drumroll) here are the Rocky Mountains! Huge! This isn't the best pic, it is a little hazy. Of course, it is nothing like seeing them in person! This is my eastern view. Love my "office".

My Budding Photographer

My little Topher was thinking a couple of days ago that he would get the jump on next year's Reflections Contest (love it!). He decided he wanted to enter the photography category this time. I told him he should start practicing now so that by the time the contest came around, he would be a master. I showed him how to work my camera (yes my new expensive camera that is an entity on its own) and he went around the house taking pictures. He must have taken about 50! After he was done, he picked his favorite and I gave him a little photo album to keep them in. Here are his choices:
