I went to see the Trans-Siberian Orchestra with friends from work. This was a big deal for me because I haven't felt well enough to do extra-curicular activities. I still had to make myself go but it was a little easier. The first of the show was a musical story.
The owner, Jared Searcy bought us floor seats really close to the stage, so we got a really good look at everything.
Some of my pictures are zoomed in, but some are real life from my seat.
Here was the first guitar player. I feel bad because he was really good, but the reception from the audience was pretty cold. I think it was too early in the day, the audience was still in "work mode".
The light show was fantastic. They do know how to put on a rock and roll show, for sure!
This was behind us. It was hard to see because we were so close to it. This was more a light show for those with nosebleed seats.
More from the front stage...
After the story, they did more of a laser light show.
Then they put the musicians on "cranes" to lift them out over the audience.
Then came the fire! It was REALLY hot!
Hanging "candles"
More fire from behind. That was even hotter!
Then the fire erupted on the stairs. SO hot and HAWT!
More cool gadgets
Different musicians on the lifts
Finally, here is a picture of the lights outside. I would've taken more, but I had my hands full with my dinner and 3 sacks of the candied almonds.
Here is a picture of my seat designation
It was a fun time. The seat itself was just a folding chair, so EXTREMELY uncomfortable, but other than that. I had a good time!
