Fact of the Week

Fact of the Week: Who Was the First Female Actor? Margaret Hughes may have been the first professional actress in England. The occasion of her first performance was on 8 December 1660, in a production of Shakespeare's play Othello, when she played the role of Desdemona in a production by Thomas Killigrew's new King's Company at their Vere Street theatre. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Margaret_Hughes

Mother's Day Frolic

Oh Mother's Day, that wonderful day that we get to be pampered! First of all, I slept in until 11:00. Can you believe it! My family must have thought I was dead! I haven't done that in YEARS. I really mean it, YEARS! Don't ask me what the hell happened! Must have been that great party at Nineseven's. Then I got breakfast in bed. I must admit this happens quite frequently, not just on Mother's Day because I married Terry Flay. Or Emeril Morley, take your pic. After that, Terry and I went "bumming around" (what he calls it). Came home to do my famous impression of Jabba the Hut, when Tim tells us our friends Neil and Donielle called. They invited us to Scotty's house for a pool party. Awesome!
His pool is friggin NICE!!! I don't EVEN want to know how much it cost.
The best part is that the water was set to the upper 80s. Oh yeah!
So the parents are up on the deck wrapped in our beach towels because the sun decided to excuse itself and take a bathroom break, or a whiskey break, whatever it is that the sun does when it goes away, while the kids were swimming in the nice warm pool.
Very nice backyard!
Scott says its a work in progress, but it looks wonderful already to me. Notice his garden in the background....already in.....jealous!
Topher doesn't need a life jacket anymore!
We had a great time. After we left, we were feeling like we needed a BBQ. So we went to Red Robin at the District. While the food was pretty good, the service was kind of bad, it was freezing in there, and it cost a $%^&load of money for what we got. Probably won't be going there again. All in all, wonderful day, as usual. My boys always take care of their lady! Love you guys and thank you!
